Community Lunches & Day Programming at New Hope

New Hope is a welcoming, non-profit community hub where seniors can connect, stay active, and enjoy good company. Our goal is to reduce isolation and support well-being through meals, activities, and friendships.

Community Lunches
Join us for a delicious community lunch for just $7.50! Lunches are part of our core day programming and are a great way to meet friends and enjoy a nutritious meal together. Monthly lunch menus are published on our website.

Core Day Programming (Membership Required — $35/year)
Membership is needed to participate in our core day programs, which run year-round on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Participants can enjoy the morning activities, leave after lunch (1:00 PM), or stay for bingo until 2:00 PM.

Core Activities (Drop-in, no reservation needed):

• Exercise: Mondays & Wednesdays — $2

• Trivia: Free

• Bingo: 50¢ per card

• Discussion Group: Free

• Meditation: Free (starting in September)

• Community Lunch: $7.50

Transportation
Transportation is available upon request for NDG residents only at $2 round trip.
Please note: participants must be autonomous and independent; we cannot provide assistance with eating or bathroom use.

Additional Day Programming
We also offer a variety of courses for members, such as watercolours, chair yoga, and tai chi, which run in 10-week sessions. Fees vary depending on the activity, and participants must register for the entire session at the start.
