L’ACADIE AND HENRI‐BOURASSA – SEARCH NOTICE

Montreal,

November 9th, 2009. – If you are a former Place L’Acadie Henri‐Bourassa resident with a right of return in the new community housing project and have so far not been contacted, please call 514‐341‐1057 (ext 201 or 207). Tenants who were residing in the Place L’Acadie Henri‐Bourassa buildings on April 15th 2008 and relocated between the months of May and November 2008 received a letter from the Cityof Montreal informing them of their return priority in the new community housing projects.

To date, 91% of former tenants have been contacted, the overwhelming majority of which have already expressed interest in returning to live on the site by filling out the approprate housing form. However, 13 households have not been reached due to incorrect contact information. Efforts were made to find them, but in vain.

That is why we have launched this search notice and are seeking input from anyone who could help locate these former residents.

The Technical Resource Groups Bâtir son quartier and ROMEL as well as community organizations Ressources habitations de l’Ouest(RHO) and Maison CACI are gathering the last forms to update their return priority lists and hope to finalize everything by mid‐December.

If you are among the 13 households that we are looking for, please call us at 514‐341‐1057 (ext 201 or 207) before December 17th 2009. Please understand that beyond this date, the community organizations carrying out this project will not be able to guarantee you an apartment in the new community housng project.
